Choosing a case
Thank you for volunteering to contribute a case to the CT/MRI society Case of the Month. The audience for the cases is mixed, including residents, interested practitioners, members of other specialties, and ACVR Diplomates. Choose a case that has one or more teaching points, easily visible lesions, and a known outcome. Relatively common diseases are preferred over “zebrasâ€.
Images
Please send me (azwingen (at) ucdavis.edu) representative images from your CT or MR case. Please send both DICOM (entire study) and JPG (representative images only, with appropriate labels), or a clear explanation of which images to include and how to label them. Jpegs should have a minimum size of 1000 pixels in width.
Case Description
Please include signalment, history, findings, differential diagnosis (if appropriate), diagnosis, discussion, and references (if any). Any Word or text document is fine.
Sending the files
If the files are too large to send as an email attachment, an easy way to send large files electronically is at www.yousendit.com. Create a free account and send a zip file of all your material up to 2 GB.
