    Could you explain in more detail the nature of destruction of vertebra.”There is geographic osteolysis of the right pedicle, lamina, and body of the L1 vertebra.” Why is this destruction – geographical? Thank you.

    These are the typical terms used to describe bone lysis:

    Geographic lysis – a large, continuous area
    Moth eaten lysis – several larger lytic areas that are not continuous
    Permeative lysis – multiple small, punctate lucencies that are close together

    Thank you for your reply. Issues are explained in the first place, the difference in interpretation of the same process in America on the one hand and Russia and Ukraine – the other side. My questions are directed primarily to better understand each other.
