6 year old Spaniel mix

This case is a 6-year-old female neutered Spaniel mix who presented with left hind limb lameness. Take a look at the radiographs and post your comments!

Two weeks later, the dog presented for non-weight bearing lameness.

Findings

Original radiographs: The patellar ligament is thickened. There is no evidence of stifle joint effusion. There are no periarticular osteophytes. Follow up radiographs: The patellar tendon is no longer clearly visualized dorsal to the stifle. The patella is displaced proximally and laterally.
