Melamine identified as potential toxin in pet food recall

Melamine has been identified in the recalled pet food, as well as in the urine and kidneys of an affected animal. 10 year old FN DSH with regurgitation

This case is a 10 year old, female neutered Domestic Short Haired cat with a recent onset of regurgitation. She was treated for hemobartonella with doxycycline two weeks ago.
