Here is a young cat that presents with upper respiratory noise. What are your findings?
FindingsOn the lateral radiograph, there is a soft tissue mass positioned in the lumen of the nasopharynx. The mass appears broad-based. One bulla wall is thicker compared to the other on the lateral projection, and the left bulla is more opaque than the right on the ventrodorsal projection. The remainder of the structures of the skull appear normal.
- Inflammatory nasopharyngeal polyp, likely involving the left bulla
